Virtual Sex Party 101
Many of our social gatherings had to be put on pause because of the COVID-19 pandemic. That includes sex parties. For that reason, a good number of sex parties resorted to going virtual.
SEX PARTIES GOING VIRTUAL
For a sex party, “going virtual” means gathering via a video-conferencing platform like Zoom in which participants set up their webcams to watch each other masturbate. While masturbation is nothing to be ashamed of, due to the circumstances of a lockdown making it necessary, many would probably prefer not to do it alone. Exemplifying the age-old saying “misery loves company”.
Some of the parties might be just locally known. So most of the participants are in your area. Meanwhile, there are parties that are internationally known. With that, you might have to contend with the degree of lockdown they might be in.
That might result how instead of seeing everyone masturbating. You might also see some pairs/groups of the participants at a virtual party gathered to have sex for all others to see.
Some of those gatherings are permissible by the rules mandated by that area, while others could be breaking protocol. Regardless of which one it is, at the end of the day, we are all adults.
So one is going to do what they want to do. And when sex is involved, people are even more so adamant about doing as they please. Especially when it feels like the government is presiding over their bedroom.
FINDING A VIRTUAL PARTY
Many of these virtual parties can be found by way of the website and/or the social media platforms they spread the word with about their events. Once you find them, most will tell you how to register.
Once you register, either immediately or in a timely matter before the event you should be sent a link to get into the Zoom room. Once you have that link, you are all set.
Also, most come with a cost fee in one form or another. Such as one party I know of, donate to a charity of their choosing as a cost of entry. Another party I know of, asks for a direct fee simply for their pockets. And there is not anything wrong with that. After all, COVID has caused a financial strain on many people.
HOW TO BEHAVE AT A VIRTUAL PARTY

It is important to know some important rules of etiquette when joining a sex party. So it is no different when attending a virtual one. Always take these rules of etiquette with you no matter what virtual room you enter.
NOT EVERYONE IS FOR YOU AND YOU ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE
Like at a real sex party, you are not going to lust after everyone in the virtual sex party. And some will send you a direct message even though you are not interested. In such an instance, do not respond to them harshly. In fact, it is totally okay if you do not respond at all.
However, if at any point your civilized rejection causes them to act uncivilized by bombarding you with messages verbally attacking you. Then you should immediately send a direct message to the host.
This is supposed to be a good time. And for some who had a problem with rejection before COVID-19, the lockdown has heightened their lack of social grace in accepting it. With that said, if you were polite in letting them down, you have nothing to be ashamed of.
HOPE FOR THE FUTURE
Of course, like the song says, “Aint nothin’ like the real thing”. So like many, I miss the feel of sex with an actual person instead of just my imagination. Also like many, I hope that the need for virtual parties will soon be a thing of the past. In the meantime, however, let us make the best of it. Why not try an interactive sex toy?
After all, refusal to use such a clean and safe release of sexual tension at one’s disposal is only going to make one quite cranky.
