Cleaning and taking care of your Feel Stroker, whether it is a generic one or a Feel Star Stroker, is very important to ensure that it lasts you a long time, giving you the best orgasm and the same quality feel every time. It’s also very easy and you can do it fairly quickly. And just like how to clean your sex toy, here is how to specifically clean your Feel Stroker.
How to care for and clean your Feel stroker
Before using your Feel Stroker, simply rinse it thoroughly with water and pat dry with a lint-free towel. If you want to, you can place the Stroker in warm water (not hot!) for a few minutes to make it nice and warm when you start using it.
After you finish playing with your Feel Stroker make sure to give it a thorough rinse with lukewarm water to get all the lube and fluids out from the inside and also rinse and wipe the outside of the sleeve. To do this pull the sleeve out of the plastic case and wash them separately.
You can use warm water and soap to clean the plastic case. I like to start with the plastic case, wipe it dry then I’ll be able to use it as a drying stand for the sleeve itself. After the case is clean and dry, rinse the sleeve until you can no longer feel any residue, lube or bodily fluids on the inside or the outside.
Once it feels nice and clean, spray and rub all over with the Kiiroo Pure intimate toy and body cleaner and wipe dry with a clean, lint-free towel or cloth. Rinsing after this is optional, since the Kiiroo Pure cleaner is completely body safe. You can even clean lube off your body by spraying a bit on your skin and wiping it dry.
Once your sleeve is nice and clean you should let it air dry completely. To do this you can use the plastic case without any of the caps, standing on its rear end. Line the rim with some paper towels and simply put the Stroker in so its wider part rests gently on the paper towels without pushing it further down.
This way it’s fairly stable and most of its surfaces are exposed to air so they can dry completely. If you have a sleeve with a very closed and tight vulva you can use a diatomaceous earth drying stick, or a rolled up paper towel to help with the drying process.
Gently push it in through the opening and leave it there for a good 20-25 minutes to allow it ample time to suck up the moisture. I recommend leaving your toy to air dry for at least 12 hours. Always finger check with a clean finger to make sure you don’t feel any moisture on the inside before proceeding to the next step.
Once your sleeve is completely dry, apply some Kiiroo refreshing powder to both the outside and the inside. This step is important because the TPE based material can get sticky and leak a bit of oily substance after a while without the powder, so powdering it is the step that ensures it stays fresh for a long time.
The sleeve being completely dry is very important, because the powder is going to form clumps and slightly dissolve if there’s any leftover water in it. Gently rub the powder over all of the surfaces until your finger glides over them effortlessly without pulling on the material or sticking to it anywhere.
If you’re done, then congratulations! You’ve just ensured that your Stroker stays in the best shape possible. It’s now ready to be stored until you’re ready for some fun time again! Simply put it back in the plastic case, close both caps and put it in its box.
Forgot to clean your Stroker?
It happens to almost everybody. After an intense session you take a nice, hot shower, and by the time you finish you completely forget about cleaning your toy, especially if you were using it in a separate room.
Depending on what type of lube you used, some can dry easily and form a thin crust. Don’t worry, you can still save your favorite Stroker from certain doom. Simply soak it in water for a few minutes, then start gently rubbing both the inside and the outside.
You should start to feel the lube slowly dissolving. Once you do, give it a thorough rinse with lukewarm water and repeat as many times as necessary until you feel all the lube is gone.
Since the material of the Stroker is porous, leaving lube and bodily fluids to dry into the sleeve can damage the material and degrade it, so while your Stroker will most probably survive one or two times, try to avoid this happening regularly.
Leaving your Feel Stroker moist/damp for longer periods of time also promotes growth for bacteria and mold. If you see dark or black spots appear on your Stroker unfortunately it’s beyond saving and you need to throw it away.
Never use a Stroker with visible mold spots to prevent any health complications. If you follow this guide and care for your Stroker properly, you can rest assured that your Stroker never gets to that point.
